Projects for the construction of power plants and their implementation

Heris combined cycle power plant is located at a distance of 15 km from Harris city towards Tabriz. This power plant is designed with class F technology and has an AEN-94.3A type gas unit with a nominal capacity of 310 MW and a three-pressure MT15 steam unit with a nominal capacity of 180 MW. The total nominal capacity of the power plant in standard conditions (ISO) is 490 megawatts. The efficiency of the power plant in the combined cycle mode is 58%, which is higher than the previous combined power plants installed in the country. The cooling system of this power plant is of A.C.C type, which has the lowest amount of water consumption among thermal power plants, and the fact that this power plant is class F has reduced water consumption several times compared to class E combined cycle power plants. The main fuel used in this power plant is natural gas and its backup fuel for use in emergency situations is diesel. Also, this power plant is one of the environmentally friendly power plants, the amount of pollutants of which has been reduced compared to the samples of older power plants.
